Into A Far Country (Conclusion)

Shalom in Yahshua and welcome once again to the teachings of Rabbi Yahshua Messiah.

Our post today 'Into a Far Country' is based on Mat.21:33-46 (KJV)

Our method of presentation will be as follows:

1. Statement of the obvious meaning.
2. Showing the deeper meaning which may be new to some.

Today we shall look at the deeper meaning of this passage.

1.Statement of the deeper meaning:

Vs.33- The 'Householder' is YHVH-(Gen.2:8); (Num.24:2-6)

The 'Vineyard' is The Christian religion (Mat.21:42,43); (1Pet.2:9)
The 'hedge' (the barrier of protection) is  YHVH'S Torah, His Law (Deu.17:19,20;28:58,59;Job.1:1,10;Eccl.10:8) {as exemplified in the life of Yahshua} (Mat.5:17,18)
The winepress is the  doctrine (of Yahshua Messiah as delineated in both the Old and New Testaments. which drops down to others. (Mat.13:52) (Jhn.5:39;Mat.26:28);(Joe.3:18;Isa.55:1)
The Tower is now The sanctuary in Shamayim (Heaven) (Heb.8:1,2)
The husbandmen are the elders/pastors. (1Pet.5:1-4)

Vs.34- And when the time of the fruit drew near.-This can be none other than the coming of the Messiah -Yahshua coming to His "own" the Christian nation (1Pet.2:9)(Mat.22:1-10) that He might find the ripe "fruit" (His righteousness in/among them); and thus claim them as His own and appear the 2nd time without sin unto salvation.

But like the Jews of His day; the Christian leaders are almost wholly unprepared to receive Yahshua's final ministry for them. And, like the Jews leaders of old, they receive nothing from Him but.....go away empty.

he sent his servants to the husbandmen- As the time got closer to the coming of Yahshua in His final ministry for them (in the office as their High Priest); He sent a great religious revival in the early eighteen hundreds.

that they might receive the fruits of it.-That is to say...that they might receive the godly produce of righteous obedience to the words which YHVH had sent them (the people) in the prophets instruction (by YHVH) to the people.

Vs.35"And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another."-That is to say they were persecuted for righteousness sake." (Keep in mind that persecution has many forms of expression.)

Vs.36-"Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise."

Vs.37-"But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son."(Love hopeth all things)

The sending of Yahshua was/is given in the form of having an understanding and acceptance and belief of both the Old and New Testaments. For Yahshua says: 'Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.'

Keep in mind that the word 'law' in this reference means the Torah. (the first five books of the OT) And keep in mind that the winepress is the the OT and NT.

This combination of Law and Grace is also depicted in Rev.14:12: Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of Godand the faith of Jesus. Keep in mind that this reference is to end time believers in Yahshua.

Vs.38-"But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance."

But like the Jewish leaders of Yahshua's day; the vast majority of the religious world despise the messages Law and Grace and have taught in it's place the commandments of men. (notwithstanding that even among them YHVH has had faithful servants. 'And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:'

The message of Law and Grace comes through the messengers which have been appointed of YHVH " They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out [his] vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

And now, here in the end of time, the voice of the 'other husbandmen' now speaks.

Shalom and Ahava In Yahshua.
